TalkReady: Microlearning

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how TalkReady handles information when you create, review, save, or share a learning briefing, and when you submit a support request.

Information you provide

TalkReady does not require an account. You may enter a topic, an optional situation or reason, learning preferences, quiz answers, and card-refinement requests. You may also optionally choose or take a photo to use as a local visual cover for a saved briefing or roadmap. You do not need to provide your name, email address, contacts, location, microphone recordings, or payment information to use the main learning experience.

Do not enter confidential information, identifying information, or sensitive personal details in a topic or refinement request.

AI processing by DeepSeek

TalkReady uses DeepSeek, a third-party AI service operated by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd., to generate and refine learning content. Before TalkReady sends the first AI request, the app asks for your explicit permission to share the request data with DeepSeek.

When you choose to generate or refine a briefing, create a roadmap, or open a new roadmap milestone, the request may include your topic, optional context, selected learning mode, familiarity, duration, and the relevant briefing or roadmap text needed to complete that action. DeepSeek processes this information and the technical network information necessary to provide and secure the service.

AI request data may be processed outside your country, including in the People's Republic of China. DeepSeek controls its own processing infrastructure and retains information according to its applicable service terms, operational needs, and legal obligations. TalkReady does not use AI request data for advertising or behavioral tracking.

TalkReady does not send your optional support contact details or cover photos to DeepSeek. Cover photos are presentation-only local assets and are not uploaded for AI analysis or processed with OCR.

AI-generated material can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect and is intended only for general educational orientation. Do not include confidential information, passwords, identifying information, health information, financial information, or other sensitive personal data in an AI request.

AI consent and your choices

If you decline AI data consent, TalkReady does not send a new AI request and AI generation features remain unavailable. You can grant or revoke consent at any time from Settings under AI Privacy. Revoking consent stops future AI requests but does not automatically erase information that was already processed by DeepSeek.

To ask about previously submitted AI request data or request deletion where available, use the Support Form and choose Privacy. Requests involving provider-controlled information are handled according to available provider controls and applicable obligations.

Information stored on your iPhone

Completed and in-progress briefings, roadmaps, optional cover photos, milestone progress, quiz responses, readiness results, onboarding status, and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. TalkReady does not provide an account, cloud sync, or a remote backup for this content.

Sharing

When you choose Share result, TalkReady creates a temporary summary image and opens the iOS share sheet. If the saved briefing has a cover photo, that photo appears in the preview and shared result image. The image is shared only with the destination you select. The temporary file is removed after the share sheet closes. The full learning session is not included in the result image.

Analytics and advertising

TalkReady does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, attribution, social profiles, or a public activity feed. The app does not sell your app content or use it for targeted advertising.

Support requests

The Support Form does not require an account or sign-in. If you submit a request, TalkReady stores the topic, message, optional contact details, page address, referrer, browser information, submission status, and submission time for later review. This information is used to understand and manage the request.

Do not include private topic details, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive personal information in a support request.

Deleting information

You can delete an individual saved briefing or roadmap from Library. Its managed local cover photo is removed with it. You can also use Clear Library in Settings to permanently remove all saved briefings, roadmaps, cover photos, generated milestones, progress, and quiz responses from the device. App preferences and onboarding status remain unless the app itself is removed.

For a request about information submitted through the Support Form, use the Support Form again, choose Privacy, and provide enough information to identify the earlier submission.

Retention and security

Local learning content and cover photos remain on the device until you delete the related item, clear the Library, or remove the app. AI request data is processed and retained by DeepSeek as described above. Support information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to review the request, maintain the support service, and meet applicable obligations. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's privacy

TalkReady is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 must not use the app or submit information through the Support Form.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when TalkReady's features or information practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.

For a privacy question or a request related to a support submission, use the Support Form and choose Privacy.
